Our lake lodge has been in our family since 1978
Bill personally designed the house and had it built when Pine Mountain Lake first came into development
The house was totally remodeled and two more bedrooms, a loft, and a bathroom were added in 2004
April is a retired interior designer and retail furniture brick and mortar owner and so the house is tastefully decorated, furnished, and designed
Our family personally manages, cleans, and maintains our lake house. We pay attention to the every details and take great pride in providing a clean and beautiful place for your group.
Every week and sometimes several times a week, we come to the lake house after each and every guest, to clean, maintain, and improve. There is a significant difference between staying at places where owners hire out all the help verses staying at places where the owners are 100% involved on a daily basis with all the details of the home...that's us! We are 100% committed and involved ensuring that your group has an excellent stay.

April was an interior designer and an owner of three brick and mortar furniture stores for 12 years. She has also had various other businesses as she is an entrepreneur at heart. Currently she enjoys maintaining and improving the lake house as well as managing and growing her family farm that is focused on agricultural tourism/education.
Bill is a retired he worked with Seymour Cray "the Father of Supercomputers" for many years and now happily helps April with managing the family farm and taking care of the lake house. In his free time, Bill is an avid book reader and classical music aficionado.
April and Bill have 4 beautiful adult children who are all in college and they have been married for over 25 years.

By booking with us directly, you can SAVE ON COSTLY FEES that VRBO and Airbnb charge guests. Why not cut out the middle man? People mainly rented directly from owners all the time but now the mega vacation websites have convinced people that they are the only way to go and this is just not true. For three years we rented directly to guests before using Airbnb. Now many guests use these platforms and pay as much as 20% more for their stay.
